meet your booster board
Eydie fernandez
Hi CHS Band Families!
My name is Eydie Fernandez, and I’m so thrilled to serve as your new Booster President this year! I'm a local native, an ASU grad (Go Devils!), and have worked in the real estate field for 26 years. My husband, Steve, and I have raised three young men, including our youngest, Cristian, who is a sophomore in Marching Band this year.
As a parent we've been involved in all sorts of sports, however last year was my first year as a band parent. Volunteering opened my eyes to the incredible dedication of our director, staff, and students—as well as the tremendous community support it takes to run a successful program. Seeing how hard our kids work and watching them finish every show with smiles and well-earned pride is my ultimate "WHY."
I am so grateful to have a full board of amazing officers and representatives alongside me, and together, we have BIG GOALS for Marching Band and all our other amazing Band Programs here at CHS!

This is my 3rd year volunteering with the band and this season I stepped into the role of vice president on the booster board. I volunteer on the field for every football competition and I jump in to help with concessions whenever needed. There’s nothing I’m not willing to do to support our students and program. I’m excited for another successful season ahead.

Hi! I am Susan May, your band booster treasurer. I work for the City of Chandler. In my free time (i.e. not marching season) I enjoy paddleboarding. My special talent is breaking things. If you need it broken then I'm your girl. My child is Abigail May or Soohwas or Colton depending on which way the wind is blowing. She is in our fabulous color guard and also plays trumpet in the symphonic band.

I’m Angela, mom to Jack, and your Band Booster Secretary. You can find me feeding the kids, pushing something pit related, or serving nachos with cheese at football concessions. In my free time, I’m a high school teacher and IB Program Coordinator.

I’m a proud Wolf Band mom, cheering on my son Alec as he kicks off junior year with the mighty Sousaphone! After an amazing freshman season on Bari Sax, our whole family jumped into volunteering and never looked back. The joy on Alec’s face when he saw us helping was absolutely priceless. That moment lit the spark, and now I’m thrilled to be part of the board, helping this incredible band thrive.

I am the proud parent of Gianna Garrity. This is her sophomore year. She plays baritone for marching band and euphonium for symphonic band. This is my 9th year of CHS Marching Band; my two boys played baritone and marimba so don't be surprised if you catch me sharing stories from seasons past! My wife and I are also CHS alumni so the Wolves run deep in our veins! You can find me helping out with Pit (front ensemble and equipment) at performances and games. I'm excited for another great year with Dr Quamo and the kids!
